I can't say thatI was disappointed with the non performance of Pantrinbago regarding Master Clive Bradley but I am disappointed with the steelbands who did not pay any homage to Master Bradley. Immediately after the death of Master Bradley I contacted pantrinbago and requested that they name the Panorama first prize "The Clive Bradley Arranger's Trophy" in honor of the steelbands greatest arranger. They didn't have the decency to reply. So, when I saw the outcome or lack of any outcome I was not surprised. Sadly, our traditions did not teach us to honor our heroes and heroines. Every year members of the steelband fraternity pass and there is a big hulaboloo about what they are going to do only to leave us disappointed. As a result, I have come to terms with Pantrinbago's limitations and only expect that they will seek more money for the Panorama prizes, conduct the Music Festivals and Pan in the 21st century. All else wil have to wait until others decide to change the status quo. But, in spite of those failures the Panorama music was of a high quality this year, especially Starlift and Desperadoes although they did not winn the Panorama.
