This is a message to M. Legarton:
Dear M. Legarton,
let me give you a short introduction to my issue.
A camara team and me were invited by Tidco last week to produce for our national TV program (non commercial) a story about the culture in Trinidad.I focused on steel pan, calypso, carnival and painting. We made a lot of fantastic shots, but back in Europe we realized, that the sound taken at the shows in the Savanah is useless in his quality. All interviews( I met also M. Melville Bryan) are ok. But the sound in the Savanah was "too much" for our mic. So I ask, if it is possible to get some footage and the copyrights of the panorama finals, and of the show of the calypsonians. The ORF, I am working for, is a noncommercial, national-wide TV station, the program will be shown in a weekly cultural program. My film with all interviews (f.e. Pat Bishop, Leroy Carke, Richard Affong etc.) will be about 15 minutes. The footage, I ask for will be about 10 minutes( to be well edited). On air will be approximately 3-4 minutes. The impressions we get in Trinidad were so unbelievabel positiv that I put all my energy in gaining the footage, to produce a film corresponding to my impressions. Please give me a message, if you could help me.
Best wishes from Vienna
Dr. Michaela Lehner
I think M. Melville Bryan can give you further informations about me.
