World Steel Band Festival 2004

This is a major fiasco.
The news that the World Steel Band Festival has been cancelled is a major disappointment to Steel Bands and Pan lovers across Europe.
Many people had taken time off to come to the event.
Surely Pan Trinbago must take responsibilty for this, as it was always a non starter, as funds were not secured.
It is being planned for May 2005, again this time frame is too short.
There need to be at least 2 years for such a major event to become a reality.
Surely Pantrinbago and its executive have heard about foward planning?
Lets hope that they do not make the same mistakes twice.
