Pan in the East
Posted By: News
Date: Monday, 2 February 2004, at 9:17 a.m.
The preliminary round of Pan Trinbago’s National Panorama competition for large bands of the Eastern Region got going last Saturday. A massive crowd followed the judges to each pan yard starting with Nu Tones in Arima. From Arima it was on to Birdsong in Tunapuna and by the time the judges got to St Augustine, home of the national defending champions Exodus, everything stood still on the Eastern Main Road. Exodus then went on to thrill the crowd with their rendition of Pelham Goddard's arrangement of De Fosto's "War 2004."
