Apart from his own personal experiences during the embryonic stages of its development, Norman Darway still continues to spend much of his time researching and contributing copious amounts of information about the birth and evolution of the steelband/pan. Many people continue to visit Mr. Darway for advice and information. It was truly an honour and a privilege to sit with him on the veranda of his home in St. James as he shared history.
